I want to install a speaker out in my parking lot and attach it to the DK40i's 600ohm output for external paging? What kind of speaker and/or amp do I need to get for this to be audible in the parking lot?

if you just need one speaker , you can use a v-1030c speaker and you will need a vp-324 power supply. The vp-324 power supply will only power one speaker, so if you think you might add another speaker down the road at a later date you might get a vp-624.
These are all Valcom parts

When the 324 came out it was suppose to power 3 of the 1030b but I guess that changed with the 1030c. And yes Rich the 1030C does have a volume control on the side of the speaker itself.

The VP-324 has a power rating of +6 , and the V-1030c has a -6.
