I have a few extensions that when I pick up the receiver there is no dialtone until I press the Intercom button. How do I program these extensions to give me a dialtone when lifting the receiver off the hookswitch? The phones are DKT2010-SD models

Program 32 will help you out here, input 101 in the field per port.

My guess is you have a bad hook switch, what happens if you press the speaker button?

I don't think it is the hook switch because I replace the phones with ones I know work.

Could you please explain to me how I get to Program 32 and input 101 on the field per port? I am not a real phone guy so I need all the explanation. Thanks a bunch!

You will need to have a phone (preferrably a 20-button display) plugged into the program port (005) and know haow to get into progrmaming. Have you ever done progrmaming before?

I have an administrative phone with xt999 in my phone closet. I can get access to a 20 button phone. I don't know how to get into programming. I haven't done it before but I saw a phone vendor do it once on the administrative phone.

Toshiba DK programming is not a easy thing to do. You need tech level support, this level of help is not available on the open forum. Please contact a Toshiba Dealer in your area for assistance. If you cannot find a dealer, check the Installer link at the top of the page, or send an email or private message to a Toshiba Forum Moderator.
