I am having an unusual problem that I would appreciate some advice on. Direct 500 extension Callers into our Toshiba 424 are complaining that sometimes they recieve a busy signal and sometimes they hear us but we can't hear them! This happens frequently. I have spoken to the CO and they say it is a random across all DID circuits 60 pulse reorder after the first digit when we get the busy signal. Almost like our PBX cant recieve the dial pulse quick enough? He did not know why we could hear callers sometimes other than it was probably a digital thing and they are sending analog. I have already tried a different DID card with no luck. Unless I have two bad DID cards I have no Idea? Really appreciate any advice. Thanks

If you have 2 DID cards and you replaced just one, how do you know you replaced the bad one? When this happens again, place the call on hold to see what line is happening on. If it happens on the same line or lines on the same card then try replacing that card.

Your extension 500 is the same Number as a Distributed Hunt Group PDN's number range. Make sure that Incoming calls do not comes to that group which is busy because doesn't have any members and its not available.

The problem occurs at random on all DID Circuits. I have tried replacing the DID card with another one RDDU1A. Maybe both cards are bad.

At very random intervals maybe once every 10-15 calls I recieve a busy signal 60 pulse. The Phone CO says they are recieving a reorder from us after the first digit is dialed from them? I had our Vendor out today and they worked with the Central Office and busied out each DID one at a time to eliminate a possible bad DID circuit. But the vendor was not able to duplicate the problem when using this method. I think the problem is somehow related to having all the DID's active. This busy signal can occur even if know on else is using the DID circuit. I can duplicate the problem when I dial direct when the all the DID circuits are on. Right now our vendor had the CO shutdown one DID at a time to see if we are still experiencing the problem.

I would really appreciate any additional thoughts on this?

Are you set up for immediate or wink? Pgm 17
On your DTMF (RRCS) is it a 4, 8, or 12?
What is the software version on the CPU? Pgm 00
What is pgm 15-1 for the DID circuits?
What is pgm 30 led 11?
Have you checked the switches on the card for correctness?
