I have a Stratagy24 and a DK280. I turned on the call screening feature and get the prompt (leave your name and company) message. When the extension rings and is picked up, the caller is immediately connected without announcing who it is. Is there something I am missing here?

Check to see if the voicemail is doing a blind transfer. I have not worked on the Stratagy24, but if you can look at the admin software, there is typically an "H" after the extension.

I have heard you need to put a U after the extension instead of an H to get Call Screening to work.

I believe I have used the U only once, but not for call screening. It was so that the voicemail will detect the busy extension (for busy hold), but then transfers when it hears Ring-back tone. It's a cross between Blind and supervised.

There was an "H" after my extension number. I will try the "U".

Is there a code that needs to be punched on the extension or port 005 extension to activate call screening.

Take the U off so just the extension is there. Newtecky is correct with the U it is a cross between supervised and blind. You need supervised on everything so when your extension is called it announces the call and you can except or deny on a RNA. With the H you get no supervision and with the U you have no supervision on a Ring No Answer.
