Hi all, Here is another question from a newbie. I have a CTX670 with an iES32 card and Auto Attendant is in place. The question is: Using eManager or esAdmin, is there any way to modify the number of rings on inbound calls before AA picks up? Currently it is ringing 4 times and my boss wants me to change it to one ring or even no rings before AA picks up.
Any advice is, as always, appreciated.
Thanks.

You will need to change how your trunks ring in. If the call is ringing 4 times first then you have the trunks DIT (under Advanced-Trunks-Assignments-DIT in e-Manager)to ringn phones. change the DIT destination to the pilto for VM and then VM/AA should pick-up automatically.

I appreciate the reply, but when I click on the assignment option, I get a message that there is no record found. There is no "line no." populated and there are no settings under the DIT tab I can change. Is this because our trunk is a full PRI circuit?
I am not to confident in the config. of this box as I inherited it(who hasn't)from a previous admin and am not sure if he had it set up correctly. I was more experienced with the NEC Elite and this Toshiba seems like a completely different animal-almost a completely different language.

Yes, that would be why there isn't anything under Trunk Assignments! You will need to make this change in the DID table under Trunks. Do you know what DID's are programmed to ring in? You will need to change where the DID rings in this table and change it to ring the VM pilot number as described in my last post.

Ahhhh....yes. Thank you. I wasn't really sure if I should tweak that, but it works.
You guys have all been very helpful with my issues and as I told Voyager, I hope to repay your help someday.
Thanks all.
