Hi I have a Toshiba DK280, and I have a RSTU1 card to allow some alanog phones for visitors. Currently one of these alalog extensions is always busy. Also the display of the dialing phone shows the extension number being called and DND. Is there a code for turning DND on and off on a analog phone?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Ryan

I didn't think you could put an anaolg set in DND. There is not a code to access this feature.

You can set DND on an analog set in CTX / CIX.
In DK, I'm not sure.

I'd look into disconnecting the port in question at the blocks and testing the port right off the card. If it's still busy/DND I'd try a different RSTU card in that slot to verify the port on the card is good. There was a way we use to put slt's in DND but I can't remember, too long ago and the need for that was rare. Make sure in programming that the extension number of the port is correct and if you haven't check the complete programming of the port comparing it to a known good one I would to make sure.

Check to make sure that the analog phone in question isn't forwarded for all calls to a digital phone that is in DND.

As far as I know, there's no way to put an slt in DND on a DK. I'll look more into it. But, are you absolutely sure you are calling the slt's extension number?

Correct the DK did not allow the analog phone to use DND. This was a know bug, they fixed it in Release 3.0. You must power cycle to switch to clear the trouble.
