We have an analog extension that we would like to extend the ring time before voicemail picks up.
We can not find anything in E-mananger, but in Stratagy, there was a default ring of 4. We have changed it to 9 (max) and it did not work.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jeff

Are you using system call forward? Are you doin g a blind transfer from auto attendant?
Put an H after the extension number in the Extension field in VM. This will do a blind transfer.
Then, use #6031 to manually CF the station to vm.
EX: #6031 XXX YY where xxx is the VM pilot number and YY is the number of seconds you want to ring before going to vm.

There is only one timer in the CIX that controls how long a system call foward will ring, for ALL phones. Individual timers would be nice, but till then, turn off system call fowarding for that SLT extension and follow directions by Voyager above.
One thing; if you extend the ringing longer then 32 seconds, then the Xfer ring timer may kick in before the Call is fowarded. The call gets kicked back to who ever transfered the call to that extension. You could extend that timer also.

Thanks to both of you for answering. Would have posted something earlier, but got sick.
Yes, we are using system call forward. I have tested the instructions from Voyager on a DKT phone, but not a SLT yet. It did work.
Thanks for your help and happy holidays.... Jeff
