I have a customer that has a DK424 and is looking to buy a voice mail
and he is giving two options and the only difference is over is a Rev1 and the other is a Rev2
it been about 10yeas since I have worked on this system .Any know the major difference between the two revisions?

Rev 1 is older. (Ya, you problably coulda figured that one out), so it's likely used. The other may be new or used. But biggest difference, as noted above, is out of the box, rev 1 comes with 4 hours storage, rev 2 comes with 16 hrs. I have upgraded a rev 1 to 16 hours but likely it has 4hrs.
If Rev 2 has no faceplate, then the software is a bit older and can be upgraded. Actually, any IVP8 software should be upgraded because of the Daylight Savings Time changes.
