<font-face=verdana>Can someone help?

I have a CIX-40 with GVPH VM card. When caller ID info is announced while a user is checking his or her VM, it says "call from 1XX XXX XXXX". So the "1" being announced is messing up the Caller ID info in the announcement, since the last digit of the CID phone number is not announced. Also, since the VM voice pauses in the wrong place, it really sounds off.

Is there some way to force the CIX-40 or the GVPH VM to ignore the preliminary "1" it is getting on Caller ID info?

Thanks in advance.

These are normal phone lines going into a home, not PRIs or anything.

Would you know the version you have? I read release notes that fixed the problem with 11 digit caller ID.

On ver 5.00 MR019
"The SMDI source number is now valid when the Central Office sends 11-digit Caller ID."

there is a setting in the phone system to add or not to add a "1" in the call history , not sure if this will solve your problem or not, I think it is in system data

Newtecky,
You nailed it! I upgraded to the latest version 5 (MS018) software and that fixed the problem. Thanks so much.

Alright.

On a side note, I was in Redmond for an install in late 2006, which happened to be the same time of that big storm that blacked out Seattle and that area for days.
