Couple questions concerning the unified message that is emailed to users.
To play the wave file you need to install a weird codec. I have installed that and the wave files play. Is there a way to convert them to MP3 files? None of the programs I have tried will open the wave file because of the weird codec. Anyone have any luck doing this.
2nd: Anyone know what the longest recording is that can be sent using unified messaging. Currently all short recordings and messages 10 min or less seem to email file. At some point above 10 minutes, the files never seem to get emailed. I am assuming it is because they are too large. Anyone else have these problems or know what the cutoff is? I have found a work around by grabbing the vox file off the server and converting it but that is kind of a pain to do. Any thoughts?

1. There is an option in Stratagy to change the codec to a "normal" wave file that you can play without installing the codec. 2. I know of no option or setting in Stratagy where this will apply. I usually set mine to a max recording time of 5 minutes and not have a problem.

try this, under "system paramaters" change "sys msg recording audio" to a 5
that should allow playback without the special codec
