I thought I had done this before, but I tried to set it up today and it didn't work.
I setup one trunk assignment to be DISA. I made sure there were phones in the "all group page" and in "page group 1". I made sure there was a flex access code of #30 for all group page and #31 for group page.
When I call in on the DISA line and dial #30 or #31 I get a busy signal.
I checked the COS to see if there was some type of permissions I needed to setup, but only the 'emergency group page' was listed there - normal paging wasn't listed.
Am I missing something? Like I said, I thought I had done this before...

I dont see why you wouldn't be able to. Ive done the individual line access #700x via DISA before, theres got to be some something not allowing you access but what, I dont know. Ill stew on it for a while.

I don't think it's supported by DISA. The General Description manual lists what features DISA supports and paging isn't one of them.

We had this same question on here sometime ago. And thinking it did work Dan and I setup 2 DK424 and tested both it didn't happen. No page over DISA. Try the "park and page" setup with the Stratagy. That setup is in the Stratagy manual.

There is a knowledge base on how to use the Stratagy Voicemail to page. The applications would be to page across Stratanet, eliminate feedback when paging overhead, or for more then 120 phones, but it could be something to use here.
Basically a VM box would be set up. When you leave a recoding, Stratagy would page and delete the message. I tried it before I read the article, but I couldn't get it to delete the message after the page.

I'll check it out. The office is scheduled to be setup on stratanet via ip qsig in the near future so a real solution is coming.
Thanks all.

I have Page over DISA working at one of our sites (customer to cheap to do StrataNet) however it is a definte "work around" but it's been successful for almost 2 years. If you really need this to work you can PM me and I will let you know how. I believe we also needed a DID card and a PI-DKT for the paging.

BTW, Article 2547 on web knowlege (for those with FYI access) tells you how to use the Stratagy to page.
I can see where you could do it with a PI-DKT (if you can do voice first through DISA), but that would work only for extenal paging.
