I would advise contacting your local certified Toshiba dealer first... have them sell it to you and service your system.

Secondly (a lot of questions here... )

1. Can you give us more information on what you're planning on doing with the system?
(office/home/number of phones/lines/etc.)

2. Did you buy the system from the USA, or in Canada and did phones come with it?
(makes a difference, because they will not work in combination)

3. Do you plan on administrating the system yourself?

4. If yes to 3, then you have to have Toshiba proprietary software.

Just want a full picture of what you're setting up.

HI! MacOSX, I bought it from US to upgrade DK8, Use some of there Dkt 2010sd, and expand a few setsAs far as i know you can use Dkt and 2000 & 3000 series phones from what i've read, i have the software and will admin and maintain system, I have been installing different systems for 21 yrs, just can't keep up with all the systems.Why would iy matter where i bought the system are you saying phones from Canada won't work with a US toshiba ctx28?? That can't Be!??

Phones manufactured for use in Canada will have a 'C' in the model number. These phones will not work on the systems manufactured for use in the US.

I have a customer that found this out the hard way. Bought 6 3220 phones for Canada and is now stuck with them. (eBay!) When you plug them in, all the feature keys light up red and green on alternating buttons. It looks kind of cool!

I talked to another customer that bought phones in Canada with a C in the model, but appearently they where flashed with US BIOS and work fine on his system, excepet one. I should see if he'll give it to use.

I guessing if i stick with the DKT 2010,2020 and dkt 3010 3020 i should be okay i think maybe Its with the 3200 series they may changed the Canada/US Bios, ??Iwill soon find out. Thanks Voyager and Newtecky if you find out about Bios Flash please let me know.
