I had read on here in a forum I cannot recall where someone mentioned a place they get cordless tool battery packs repaired instead of replaced as a much more economical solution. I have searched a few different words and combinations of words and cannot for the life of me find that post! If anyone knows of a business that repairs these battery packs could someone please part with the info? I appreciate it. I have a Makita 12V drill/driver that has had its fair share of use and abuse and finally killed one of my batteries after 3+ years. Thanks in advance for any information, I do appreciate all the help I can get.

Herk, I think the post your referring to is in the Installer's catagory. I sent you a link via PM. ---------------------------- MrG

I also remember the post. I believe at least one place that was mentioned was Batteries plus. I have used them on one occasion for a Milwaukee drill. It ended up being almost the same price as a replacement pack. https://www.batteriesplus.com/

I may have posted this earlier, but www.primecell.com is who we use. Their site has all the info you need, and they can upgrade the capacity. We are pleased with the ones we had rebuilt 2 years ago, and just had a few more done!
