I am reinstalling an old dk 40 and need to change some line ringing, station names, and button programming. I do not want to buy a manual! Are there any among you that can email or fax me the pertinent pages? I'll find a way to repay you for your kindness and effort! jgarland@onestechnology.com

Man John this sure falls in the "Something for Nothing" category. Want us to come put the screws in the backboard too. I bet if you looked real hard you could find a DK Manual on one of the freebee sites. But make sure you bill the customer for it.

Might be easier to call up the local Toshiba vendor and ask them if you can come by and pick up one.

SSPhone - I've actually bought stuff from you (telrad) "I'll find a way to repay you for your kindness and effort!" I wasn't joking and don't understand your sarcasm. It's not like I'm stealing your business as Toshiba hasn't manufactured a dk40 in years.

Most buyers for resale purchase systems they are familiar and knowledgeable with and can easily install/program. In cases where a person has been asked to acquire and install a system that they are unfamiliar with then steps & measures are required. Without the skill set to program a Toshiba DK system a person would either needed to have someone knowledgeable or purchase the needed manuals & programming needs required.
To assume that in purchasing a system, from anyone or anywhere, that it will be all exclusive to your needs of equipment and with skill set is naive on an individuals part whether they were a technician or a interconnect owner.
If your intentions in the purchase was for a turnkey application then you needed to be certain to have all that is needed, not just the purchase of the equipment.
As a personal note: your frustration shown as anger in the statement of "repay for your kindness and effort" will not be tolerated here. This forum is here to assist mostly the end-user and will not acknowledge or condone your bully comments. As a Interconnect Owner, as you state you are, I would expect a higher level of professionalism.
