hi
i have a couple of extensions in our reception one is a 3524 with 60 key DSS, the other is a plain 3524......both have keys programmed as 610 DSS with the same extensions on each phone
the problem that has occurred in the last week is that the LED's on the 60 key (or at least some of them) dont match the other phone or reality...
eg
on 60 key a key may be showing flashing RED, on the other phone the LED is off (and the ext it refers to is not in use so the non-60key is correct)
it only seems to be affecting about 30% of the LEDS on the 60key...
ive tried resetting the 60key and the attached phone, and also deleting both the 610 definition and readding it - and also resetting the DSS on the PBX
its a CIX 670....
havent yet tried a complete power down...
any ideas welcome !
many thanks dave

Maybe the buttons are labeled incorrectly, or not as they are programmed. Have you, or your dealer logged into the system to verify that?

The button programming is correct (its been same for a couple of years now) - we have verified the assignments. If you use the 610 DSS keys to call the person or transfer a call it works fine. Its just the LEDs that are out of sync. dave

Wow, very odd.
If how I interpreted your post correctly you have multiple DSS consoles. Have you tried swapping the DSS consoles, to see if the problem follows the console, or stays at the port?
Next swap the digital card(s) that the DSS consoles are on, with another like digital card.

Did you recycle the power to the CIX?
