Hello,

We have a CTX670. It has the older processor and software. It wasn't updated recently when the newer processor was introduced. I think the software is AR2.22 MH225.00.

Anyway... we have two ISDN PRI lines. One for LD incoming and outgoing, one for Local. We also use Oaisys NetPhone. The last time the tech was out, I asked him if we updated to the latest NetPhone, would the incoming Caller ID name show up in Net Phone. He told me it would, but only if we made a change in the PBX.

Yesterday, I updated to the latest Oaisys software, across the board. Despite the fact that he showed me where the change had to be made in the PBX, I can't find it now.

As I recall, it was just a checkbox that I had to check. I'm not sure why I didn't do it at the time? Doh! haha

I do program the PBX often, but I'm not officially a telephone service guy. Can someone give me a clue where this setting is???

Apparently it's not possible to get the Caller ID name without upgrading to newer software. The upgrade would also require a newer BCTU2A processor.

You also have a license issue, a new processor would come with 64 licenses and you have more dial tone/extension ports than that.

I am not sure what the policy is on removing licenses from the old processor or I would tell you.

It may be time to negotiate with the local Toshiba dealer to spend some money.
