I'm programming a CTX100 for a new outgoing line group using winadmin. When I try it asks for a file to add. I have made many changes before but never added a new group. What do I use? Thanks.

What are your existing OLG's? (1, 2, 5, etc.)

Should be able to click create and enter the next OLG.

I have never heard of it asking for a "file".

It might not be a file it is asking for, I'll have to check . It is asking for something before it will let me add a new group. I only have one OLG now.

If you are really still using winadmin, you may not be able to administer the CTX/CIX depending on what software version it is using. Time to upgrade to eManager or NeManager and you wont have that problem.

The prompt says :" create new records with default value.
enter the index value you want to create "
I have only one OLG now but want to create two more groups to re allocate my trunks. What would be the value I need to enter? Thanks.

If your existing group number is "1", then make it "2" - if "2", then "3"... so on and so forth.

RRino is right too, there may be fields you can not edit, becasue of WinAdmin. Contact your local Toshiba dealer and have them install Network eManager.
