Norstar tech. need help programming strata ctx100 not sure about the software version, installed in 2002. Can I program this system using a 20 button digital telephone? If this is possible, I need the programming procedures. If I need to purchase winadmin software, will I have a password problem?.

Hello clifton,
You really should contact your local Toshiba dealer and have them do the programming. They should be able to set you up with the appropriate and up to date admin software (WinAdmin is not used anymore and can not access all the programming you may need... but may get you by for the older CTX). It generally takes an hour or two to install and train on the basics.
You can program using the phone, but it is not done so reasonably and is not suggested. If you are used to the DK series button programming... it is nothing like it at all.

Get yourself a programming manual, the procedure and program numbers are in the book. Give yourself enough time. Programming can be done with a 20 button phone from any active port. But believe me, you will want to get the software and program with the laptop. You'll get done 10 times faster.
You will still need to get the manual. Get in with the phone first, program 901 and see what the software level is. If its higher than 2.22, then get eManager, not WinAdmin.

I just installed eManager V5.10A14 on a Windows Vista machine. I can get into the logon screen, but am making no leeway in ways of actually logging on. I created a local user and made it an administrator, but to no avail.
