Thanks to everyone that replied, changing ports in 580 to SMDI fixed the problem, not sure why it would have changed, the backup was only a few months old, and the system is 5 yrs old.

Well make sure you back it up now. If it works then IO devices must have been setup already for SMDI. Thats kind of odd.
