Whenever we have our secretary transfer a caller to another users extension, if that user does not pickup within 5 rings or whatever, it rings back on secretaries phone and then she must manually transfer them to the users voice mail.

How do I get it so that it will automatically transfer that caller to the users voice mail if the user does not pickup within the alloted rings?

Make sure the call fwd/no ans. timer is shorter than the ring transfer timer

Where is the call fwd no ans timer? I see the ring transfer time in command group 208.

Hi nappyjim,

If you have system call forward enabled in 200-12, then no answer timing is a system function found in 104-08. So, as Voyager stated : 104-08 < 208-07

Or do it manually with 6041.

Thanks Mac. I did it with 6041 but then the LCD on the phone displays different numbers and the persons name is no longer on the screen and they complain about that, lol.

Hmmmm, 104-08 is 16 seconds, 208-07 is 32 seconds, yet its not taking the caller to voicemail when they are transferred to that extension.

Did you try prog 200 FB 12 as Tony suggested?

Yep. Got it working now. I just had 200-12 on template 2, when it needed to be on template 1.
