I'm working on getting my issues posted about version 5.2 but a quick question, is there a way to change or assign a line to a different group via the adminstrators phone?

You can pretty much program anything from an administrator phone on the CIX, but its not recommended, and not very easy. I have never programmed anything other than very basic stuff (change to a key here and there) via the phone. That being said, I don't have the DK background/knowledge that many Toshiba techs have. I would get the admin software. Its gonna make way more sense.

Nice Fish!! I'm going to ask shortly about emanager 5.2 and why it gives me the error it does, but I wanted to see if there was another method in the meantime.

If you have the manual for programing through the phone you can try it , but I would get eManager working.

Hi tlguy46 and welcome to the board!
Travis is correct that the Admin software is the way to go... it's worth the wait. I am very well versed in button programming on the DK series and try everything I can to avoid it on the CIX series. Which 5.2 version do you have? There were some buggy things with earlier versions.

ERROR_COULD_NOT_CONNECT_TO_CALL_AGENT
That is the error I get when trying to connect using ver 5.2. I wonder if I don't know the community name that the installer gave it?

you will get that error message with the wrong communityname .. ensure you also have the correct IP/SN. You can get that from PROG 916.

The Community Name is proprietary information and will not be posted in the public forum. There is a way to find out what is programmed in your switch, but again, that procedure will not be posted for security reasons. Please contact a Mod or other installer for off-line assistance.
Thanks
