We have a CIX670 with ACD and Oaisys Net Phones. Can any advise what I need to do to setup recording of phone calls? And where does that recording get stored at?

You can program a button on your phone that will record phone calls. Depending on programming, that recording can be stored in your mailbox or any mailbox of your choosing.

Yes, that will allow the user to press a button and record a phone call that is stored in their voicemail box.
In order to record every phone call, you need yet another device. Oaisys makes Talkument and Tracer which will record every phone call, if you want.

It will not be the same PC as the ACD. It is a stand alone PC dedicated just for recording calls. I would think someone would know if they bought a tracer, since they are not inexpensive.
Older models of Tracer had a dongle, like the ACD, plugged into the parallel port of the PC.
Phsycally looking for it, or doing a network scan, or checking the invoice are the only was I know of checking to see if you have a tracer.

Ok - I am back to the button option for right now, but I tried to get it to work but no luck - any instructions somewhere or is there things I have to turn on in the voice mail system it self to allow the recording?

Do you know what voicemail you have ? If it is a IVP8 it must be integrated via SMDI to record calls to the voicemail.

Ok - I am not finding anywhere to enable the recording. I have a button on my net phone, but does not do anything. I am looking at the section titled vm phone systems. The integration field says CTX proprietary. The drop down arrow has smdi, but I am reluctant to change it without knowing if this is something that needs to be changed in order fot the recording to work. Is there any instructions on how to set this up? I have searched the help, but the help is not very helpful.
Thanks.

Do not change the integration. It sounds like you have a Stratagy ES, IES, or MAS. Recording should work.
You have to assign a record button on the phone, and you will want to change the setting under Stations>Assignments>DKT (Prg 204), under FB23 Mailbox Selection change to Auto Input.
After you press the button, recording will last for the message length setting in the voicemail box, which is 3 min default.
