Hi, New to the site.... Been searching for hours through these forums... too much time researching here is my question. I am on a CIX100 with a i32 Strategy es VM system. I can log into both the Strategy Admin and the Network eManager. In network emanager the the first drop down is grayed. When adding the VM IP address to the configuration of the CIX it gives me.... Connection failed! CIX100:[SES-ERR-0002] Login error 8705 url=192.168.1.252 user=administrator So I leave it alone for the time being.
But I am continually getting Voice mail box is full, when an outside line calls in. I have not yet begun setting up extension VM boxes.
Logged into the ES Management system, there is only 2 messages at 98 seconds in 1 VM box.
Question about the ports I take it the voice ports in es manager and emanager are the same, or need to be configured the same?

First, you don't use Network emanager for an IES voicemail. That is only for a MAS system, so use Stratagy ES Administrator. The greyed areas in Network Admin are because you are not using that software to configure the voicemail system.
Is this a new install? The IES32 is out of production so it is not a new system. Have you, or do you know how to connect to the voicemail systems desktop?
I have not heard the message about the voicemail system being full, as I have never seen an IES32 get filled, even with thousands of messages. We have had a customer fill and IES16 with faxes.
There are a few steps in setting up an IES voicemail into a CIX. The CIX and the voicemail system have to be configured correctly. If you are a Toshiba installer, then there are guides on Toshiba's site that will help.
Since the system is answering, I figure that you you at least have the voicemail ports in the CIX created. Now it's just a question of if they are configured correctly.
As to if they are configured the same, the voicemail has to have information about the CIX, and the CIX has to have information about the voicemail.

Yes I have been using the Strategy ES Admin/management system. And I have been noticing misconfiguration throughout. This is a 10 dk2010 phone system, that was barely setup in the beginning, but it DID have the ability to place a Voice mail when calling the main line or any of the rollovers. And Voice mails are retrievable by using the code 850 and entering the extension... they had VM as far back as early '04 and I cleared out all old fax/modem/expired extensions.

Chris, to the board. Like Newtechy said, the ies32 has many parameters to configure with the CIX. Are they both connected to the network? You should program for SMDI Integration. It may be wise to have a local Toshiba dealer set this up for the first time and train you on how to administer the system. Then you can make changes yourself. Good Luck

That is interesting, becuase when I setup an IES with the integration working propery, it will immediately ask for your security code when loggin in from a phone.
I know your original question about mailbox full wasn't answered. It may be hard do diagnose over a message board and may be time to get to know your local Toshiba dealer, even if not the original installer.
When a call comes in, it is typically answered by mailbox 990. Is that not working correctly either?

So I called the Toshiba guys that setup the system, Talked to the tech that set it up in the first place... He suggested NetMeeting into the I32 Stratagey. So I setup Net meeting and try to login, No success says the called computer is not accepting the call. I used the same information as the stratagy es admin prog. So far I have found that the SD Backup card is bad, and the Hard drive may be in no better condition. I told my boss and he said... "Noooooo." But the Hard drive is a standard 3.5 notebook drive. I hate when Technology fails, and it looks like it was my fault. Blah! I have untill the 10th to get it all running...
Off to setup Wireless bridges with the dd-wrt open source.

I was able to leave a voicemail when I manually entered into the VM system through the phone, and it does show in the tear off sheet... Hard drive is ok, Just a matter of configuring the CIX100 I guess.

The Username and password are not the same as the Stratagy ES software, and you have to setup netmeeting to use secure connection.
Hard drive failure is the most common failure in the IES 32. Maybe that is why they dropped the system and replaced it with an IES16 which uses a flash drive.

Okay with more playing around.... I can see the Voicemail ports opening and closing in The ES Admin software.
I have been able to successfully setup every ones phones and voice mail in the office, with blinking message lights that when pressed go right to their security log in. I tested each one with a message.
Still, when calling one of the 4 Trunk lines and letting it ring through, I get... "I'm sorry but this mailbox is full and cannot accept new messeges, please try again later. Goodbye." Click
any suggestions? I am guessing it is pointing to a bad place... but I am not 100% shure on how to get the trunk/PhDN's to forward to the right VM
