Can someone please tell me how to check and see how many open ports are on an ACTU2A with a display phone on a CTX 100? The person I'm talking to does not have any software to check it and i have no idea how to do it with a handset. Thank you in advance

What do you mean by open ports ? Ports that aren't being used ?

I don't think it can be done without emanager. Even then it isn't really always accurate. More than likely all of the ports are programmed. The only thing you can do is look in slot status for ports showing that are "disabled by fault:DO". You need emanager for that.

No, I should have been more specific. I need to try and help this guy tell me how many ports the ACTU is licensed for (32 from factory)using a handset. he does not have any software (Emanager)i know we can not give out passwords on the forum but can someone tell me this? is the backdoor password for a Contact in skin voice mail the same as the Stratagy? I know the Stratagy and i told him that one and he said he tried it and it didnt work??? that is the only one i know of (upper case and lower case) hope i didnt cross the line with that

No, you cannot check license info on the handset. Does he have a Contact? Its very easy to tell them apart!

It still isn't exactly clear what you want checked. Just to double check :
You have a CTX 100, with a Contact DK voicemail?
You want to know how many ports the CTX 100 is licensed for?
What are you trying to do with the Contact (ie - log-in to it remotely, log-in to the administrator mailbox, etc.)?

To check any licensing on the CTX 100, you have to use eManger and to log-in to Contact you need special software and a special cable.

no this is 2 different questions, i should of opened another post for it. can i see license info using the handset. That is one subject.
and i know what the stratagy DK card's default password is. my questions is the Contact version of the stratagy DK card's default password the same. I am not asking anyone to post a password just tell me if it is the same as the DK cards (upper and lower case)- if you know the DK's default one you will know what that means.

If you are talking about the default admin mailbox password, then I know it is not the same as the Stratagy DK. I have only worked with the contact VM a couple times, but the software is very differnt. If you are talking about the admin software, then I have no idea since I could not find any way of connecting to that system, but I would guess that it is different from the Stratagy DK, and I doubt that the backdoor password.
