I have eManager Version 5.10A07 This is what I can do. Open up eManager, I have programmed numerous customers in Select Equipment. I can connect from my laptop to the equipment with the crossover cable. And I can make necessary program changes. What I can not do is When I Click on the use Dial-up (there is a telephone number ) and press connect, the following shows up.
A pop up window shows up (it is a network Connections pop up) and it states the following "Cannot load phonebook. Error 621: The system could not open the phone book file. OK
When I press ok to the popup, A pop up window shows up (it is a network Connections pop up) and it states the following "Cannot load dialog. Error 621: The system could not open the phone book file. OK
When I press OK this pop up window shows up VBScript:Alert Dial Up connection to CTX was not established! OK
After I press ok to the last one it goes back to the Select Equipment prompt on eManager.
Had a computer tech look at my laptop and checked with the Microsoft regarding the 621 Error and he could not see anything wrong with my computer and his thoughts were with the eManager setup. The weird thing is it was working perfectly and then just stopped working. Don't ask me why. I would definately like to get this working again as it is a excellent tool for remote programming Any input would be appreciated Greg

You need to add the connection entry for dial up in Windows. The steps are outlined in the programming manual for the CIX and must be followed step-by-step or it will not work.

Yes there is a connection called Remote CTX1
If I press Start on my Task bar My Administrator page shows up with a Connect To prompt. If I press The Connect to prompt RemoteCTX1 is there and if I press the RemoteCTX1 prompt it shows: Connecting Remote CTX1... At this point is starts dialing the telephone number that was programmed and goes through.
