hey guys i just recently got new laptops, and installed network emanager v5.20B10
i have disabled windows firewall and no virus software on this pc, and it installed fine, then i setup a customer site no problems there and then i had to setup dial up for RemoteCTX1 with the ip address of 192.168.254.100
and all good but when i try to connect with my phone line the pop up pos up saying its dialling but doesnt connect to the other side, i have tested com port with just a normal dialler program, and tested customers site's remote modem all fine...
but it doesnt connect.....
Any ideas as where i might have gone wrong,

Does a window popup when the dialing starts?

I should restate that... How many windows popup? There are normally two, when I use our office computer's dial-in.

Yes with emanager open, when i click connect using dial up 1 window pops up and says its dialing... but does nothing after that...

I got this to work on my laptop with windows vista.
1. vista has two IIS options that you can install , the old IIS and IIS6 need to install both.
2. completly remove emanager and re-install
3. create CTX1remote
4. on my laptop only 1 window pops up and the modeom doesnt play out of the speaker but i can use a test set to transfer into cix modem and it works.
but only one window opens, no sound. poor notification of connection status.
