Help. I recently reformatted my Dell laptop running Vista Ultimate and now I cannot connect to an LVMU using Stratagy Voice Mail Manager. Trying to connect using USB to serial adapator which worked previously but is not working now. Dont know if it is the USB to serial connection or something else. Has anyone had this problem?

What COM port has be allocated to the USB/RS232 adapter?
Check the COM port for the VM manager is the same as the USB/RS232 adapter.

When a USB to serial adapter is installed, it rarely goes to COM1, which you were likely using before. I have also had them grab a new COM port if I don't use the same USB port each time as well, so that's something else to watch for with those things.
