I have been having an echoing issue for a while. My users tell me that it is mostly after they have been on the phone for several minutes and when they tranfer a call to another agent the echoing follows them. Any suggestions that I can look at to aliveate the issues.

I was going to ask the same question. we need more information regarding your setup System? Lines PRI/BRI/PSTN/SiP? Extn types Digital/SLT/IPT/SoftIPT/SiP? If running IP do you have BIPU/LIPU/MIPU or GIPU? Are they running the latest firmwares? Netphone integrates with which type of extns? Does the echo happen on I/C or O/G calls? Do any non ACD agents get the echo?
Sorry for all the question but it makes answering the original post easier.
Regards Carl

Gail, this type of problem isn't going to be solved over a forum. There are too many variables involved and will take experience and know-how in order to tackle. I'm sure those will agree with me when I suggest that you have a Toshiba dealer come out and help you with the problem.

Gail, are you using headsets on the Netphone extns? are the netphone extns using the digital handsets with a headset connected to the handset? or is the headset connected to the PC running netphone as voip extn?

do you have QOS enable on the network?
Sorry for all the questions but it is most likley to be an IP issue rather than the software/netphone
