More Info. All of my co-workers get caller ID except me and we all sit in the same area.

How do you receive calls? Is the automated attendant transferring the incoming calls to you?

All of the calls come in to one number which rings at all of our desks. Whoever is available answers it.

When a call is ringing in, do the line buttons flash red, green or not at all on your telephone set? What about the sets where the CID works?

My phone does not ring but the lights flash. The lights flash red.

I have to actually push the button connected to the line that is ringing. My co workers just pick up the phone and can talk immediately.

That's the reason. Your phone will need to ring.
