I have another PBX tied to my 670 via PRI using a T1 crossover cable. When a call comes into the 670 over this TIE trunk calls ring as an internal caller. Is there a way I can have the calls ring as external calls?
Thanks for any help, Mark

Try changing the call type to CO in the ILG and then reset the BPTU.

Thanks for the reply. I did try that but I get this error. This ILG was originally used to connect to another Strata but we no longer own the office it connected us to.

Would it make any difference to delete the ILG and re-create it?

Or just create another ILG for testing

That did it! Thanks guys!
Changing from TIE to CO was the first thing I tried, but I didn't understand why I was getting an error. I wasted a LOT of time on that, so I really appreciate the help.

I know that I am resurrecting an old thread.
Am I able to connect two systems with a TIE trunk yet have them ring as external calls?
The solution here has solved my issue, but only in one direction. When calls come into the 670, they now ring as desired. However (and maybe this is fixable via LCR?) when trying to dial a 4 digit extension from the 670 to the remote PBX, it is waiting for a long time before connecting the call. The confusion for me is that I am trying to route internal and external calls both over the same OLG.
I know there are timers and it must be waiting for 7 digits when I am only dialing 4. That's why I bring up LCR -- if I dial 9, it should expect 7 or more digits. If I don't dial 9, and I dial a 49xx extension, I want it to go out the same OLG as if I dialed 9 -- just like it would if this was a TIE line.
