I need to default or reinitialize a contact-dk voicemail. I need to start from scratch on it. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not able to access the contact-dk so I can not make changes to the greetings. It has a message recorded on it but it is incorrect and I can not get into the admin box to change it. I can dial the vm but when I press * the greeting just keeps playing. Actually no matter what key I press the greeting just keeps playing.

Im not sure if this will totally default it , but go into system paramaters and change the system type.

Thats part of the problem I cant access the Contact at all. I cant change the parameters becuase it wont let me access the admin box. I belive I have all of the manuals and I cant find a single location where it says how to default it. Thanks anyway.

Is there a speed dial key programed on the phone you are tring from ? If not try *#*. Are you installing this voicemail or has it been in for a while ? Does the system have a DTMF rec.

the system was set up already, so I know that everything worked together at one time. I am not sure about the DTMF rec

Why don't you post this in the VM section?

I have not done a Contact for years, but I seem to remember login was not the same as a Toshiba DK even though the vm units looked very similar.

You could also do a google for "perfectvoice" and find a Teleco dealer that might help you.
