Does anyone know if you can use the ringdown feature to dial the page code(#39) from SLT on a 40i ???

You can use a Viking K-1900-9 unit to dial the page code for you when you go offhook.

I,m assuming by your response, your not aware of any programming on a 40i that will allow ringdown of the page code. I have 6 SLT's on checkout lanes, the customer just wants phones pickedup and going straight to paging. Thats what they have at others stores.

Is the paging strictly overhead and not over the dkt sets?

The paging for #39 goes both int & ext.

There's not a way in programming to ring down to an access code and I don't know of any work-around other than something like the Viking unit or hotline dialer. If these SLTs are used strictly for paging and not receiving calls, I suppose you can wire all 6 to the Viking unit.
