HI All,

Been testing the SNOM (SIP Extension) range with a LIPU/MIPU can get the handset to register and dial out however cannot dial to Handset at all! Has anyone got any of the SNOM range working on their CIX? I am testing against 02_07 on LIPU and 01_28 on my MIPU, CIX on 5.20 MT042 i have changed most settings and it is beginning to frustrate me.

I have not tried the SNOM but I have tried lots of other SiP handsets like Linksys SPA942, Polycom IP330, Kirk SiP over Dect, WIP5000, Nokia e71, iPhone, Uniden UIP200, Atcom AT530.

In softphones I have used XLite, 3CX Phone, Faramphone, SJphone, NCH Express Talk, ZoIPer.

Have you done a Wireshark trace between the SNOM and the MIPU ??

I really interest on XLite connect to MIPU. MIPU hangs after Xlite user dial the restricted number in DRL table. Lastly, it is required to reset the MIPU for resume the MIPU service .

Thus, we recommended user to use 3CX phone which can get better result during my testing.

Can you advice the version of Xlite 3.0 or 4.0 can give a good result when connect to CIX.

I re-test the Xlite 4.0 build 38832 today.

It works with MIPU (Version 01_30) including incoming, outgoing, eable call forward as well as message inducator. It works perfect.

However, same Xlite connects to LIPU (02_07) in the same CIX system, call drop after phone call is just connection.

Have you experience the same result during your testing?

I have the Snom300 working now and it works a treat!. Had to enable Sip broken Registar support.

I gave up on the LIPU with the XLite a long time ago as it used to crash the system and do strange things.

Since the MIPU it has been a lot better when I revisited the XLite software again.
All seems to be working well on MIPU 01_28.
I have not tried the MIPU 02_01 yet! will be soon.
