Hmm the template being used is CTX100 LIGHT ON; should those all be changed to CTX670 LIGHT ON? Or the COM1_3D?

The message lights do work though.
If the system notifying 999 isn't going to bother anything; then I can leave it alone. Although it does take up a port every so often.

I was mistaken about the notification - the VM unit dials 999 every five minutes, normally on port four.

Critical system messages might be turned on to be sent to mailbox 999. Notifications are usually sent on port 4 (last port). I wouldn't change the notification template if it works, unless you plan on setting SMDI (if you have a BSIS, a cable with PPTC-9, and know how to setup SMDI)

Changing the notification template did stop it from notifying 999 every five minutes. Some mailboxes had the COM2_3D... template set.

SMDI is setup & working as well.

Thanks!

One other question - does the Purge Messages option purge all messages, or just saved ones? I'd like to enable this to ditch saved messages after 10 days, but some extensions go for six to eight months without being checked (we're seasonal) and I don't want their new messages to be purged. Although I guess messages from eight months ago probably aren't that relevant.

Purge messages will only delete the read (heard) messages and will NEVER delete NEW (unheard) messages.
