Need a bit of programming help with this one. Client is forwarding their phones to an "on call cell phone" at night. To accomplish this they used to dial "*72" & cellphone number. Since the PBX has been installed they can not dial *72 even if preceded by "9" to access outside line. Any suggestion on what needs to be done to remedy this problem?

They must have access to line one of the hunt group. Do they have line apperance on the phones? If not put line 1 on a phone and try it. You could also put line 1 in It's own line group (805) and access it that way, then dial *72

goldenhtr is correct - you must be on the main line to forward it. Accessing intercom and dialing #7001 will also give you dial tone on line 1, then dial *72 and the cell phone number. Keep in mind, you must also have a speed dial access button (497) programmed on a flex key for the star button to emit DTMF. If no speed dial button is programmed, dial intercom, #7001, *#*72 and the cell number.
If extra flex key buttons are available, program one as a speed dial with I#7001*72NXX-XXXX and another as I#7001*73. A pause may be needed in the dial string (I#7001P*72NXX-XXX and I#7001P*73).
Were you able to get your SMDI working?

Thanks goldenhtr and Bobrobert. Will program accordingly.
To answer you last question. No I have not gotten the SMDI to work properly. Change that.... SMDI information is being sent to Stratagy however I do not know if the Stratagy is interpreting it correctly. What I do know is that if a call is transferred to Stratagy the only way to get individual mailbox greeting is by waiting for prompt to "dial by directory". Otherwise caller only gets main greeting. It is quite the frustrating problem.

Alright gentleman,
Once again sitting here with this beast before me. Having followed suggestions provided above I am not getting DTMF tones on * or # even when line 1 is grabbed. Tried * # *. No success. As soon as * is dialed phone display changes to "dial restricted". All ports have been programmed with Program 48 to "000". LCR is not active on this system (there are only two incoming CO lines). Any other suggestions?
