HI I have several customers who want to withhold CLI on an Outbound call on a per extension basis. The CIX 670's both use SIP trunks and providers have said it's the job of the PABX to send [email protected] for them to withold cli and not [email protected] for example. Tech say i cannot withold CLI on a SIP trunk collectivly or individually on the CIX. Is this the case?

Doesn't seem possible as you need the CLI to set up the call.
I do Samsung as well and I can't do it on a Samsung.
The system is looking for that information to send out to set up the call.
Now if you could get the Telco to give you extra bogus CLI numbers with no name attached, then you could do it.
Don't know that they would want to do that for legal reasons but you could ask. They would be the ones to get in trouble if the customer made threatening or illegal calls as the DID number would still be registered to them.

Thanks Bunnie,
I have got the Telco to recognise a specific CLI being sent to them now and they will now handle the CLIR.
