Hello All,
When setting up CLID, what features do you guys suggest putting on the phones?
Also,to have the name instead of the number come up in the LCD, is that from telco or programing.

If I'm not sadly mistaken, the DK40 will only show number, check with your carrier and ask them if they are sending name and number.
The only button for caller ID referenced in the programming manual for program 39 is code 462......Will Auto Dial a Caller ID and/or Automatic Number Identification (ANI) telephone number that was stored in station Caller ID/ANI memory.

Pressing the Page soft key will toggle between CID number and name.

Check out programs *50, *51 and *52.
REMEMBER, you have to turn the power OFF and ON to make the changes take place, I forgot that and learned that the hard way.

You won't get both the name and number on the display. If telco sends the name first, you will see that on the display as the phone rings but you can press the Page soft key to switch between the name and number like what Bob said.
