I made the mistake of Googling for "incoming call volume" only to learn that it's a marketing phrase for the Toshiba Strata phones..
While it's great that the system can handle a high incoming call volume, I can't HEAR the incoming callers.
My current 'stratagy' is to pickup and answer really slowly as I madly fist the 'volume up' key on my handset.
Usually by the time the person replies to my 30 second long greeting, the volume is adequate for understanding what they are saying.
While this is 'semi-functional' I can forget about it and then we have the silly 'oh sorry please wait a sec' while I try to fix the volume and re-answer the phone. I also doubt my office mate appreciates the pounding on the volume key added to each answering disruption.
Any help would be appreciated.
