I also get rid of the Greeting 7 part and make the system ask for a security code just like your code. I think the reason has something to do with if the Notify template completes or not if the called party does not answer.

I am working on a Stratagy Flash on a DK424 and when I use the voice home template and change the yyy from 850 to my vm pilot of 100, It will play greeting 7 and do the transfer but it goes to the main greeting 991 instead of the mailbox with the notify template. My question is - are you supposed to enter the password followed by the # or not? I have tried it both ways, but it still goes the main greeting. I can still log in to the mailbox and enter the password but it is not very efficient.

Am I correct in thinking that the token in johnnyO's last post will leave me at the prompt "please enter your password" of the users mailbox? If so, I think this would be ideal for the customer. I will try this next week when on site, but would like some feedback until then.

I also disabled the VM to VM call blocking with the same results.

Thanks,
BobRobert

BobRobert, Yes the system will prompt you to enter your security code after #.

I experienced the same problem as you with the template taking you to gtg 991 rather than the users mailbox. Try this:

Set up your string in VM Manager or whatever admin s/w you are using. In your case it would be:
9,W(4,T)%V,,W(3,V),P(U)P(M)-F-100-,*%U#

Save the changes but do not activate the template or enter the variable,(phone number), through admin.

Call into the system and log into the users vm and activate the template and enter the phone number through there.

See if that works

Thanks for the reply johnnyO. I went to the site earlier today and played with the token a bit and no matter what I tried I always ended up at greeting 991. I ended up using:
9,W(4,T)%V,,W(3,V),,,P(M)-F-100,#
They still end up at greeting 991, then just log onto their mailbox. Not what I was hoping for, but customer was happy - happy because I also had the DT provider change their CO lines for a centrex transfer eliminating the DB loss when doing an external transfer to cell phones.
Next time I'm there, I will try your other suggestions of not activating the template or the variable thru admin but thru the users mailbox.

Thanks again,
BobRobert

So the last part after the flash, *%U# did not work? My template looks simular to the one above, but if you are using DTMF integration then the voiemail may take a few seconds before it is ready to accept the DTMF tones. You may have to play with more commas or use the W(2,V) or W(3,V)to make sure that the Stratagy is ready to recieve the user ID number.
Somthing more like:
9,W(4,T)%V,,W(3,V),,,P(M)-F-100-W(3,V)*%U#

And that sure seems like a lot of pauses after dialing the number. It dials, wait 4 seconds, then waits for up to 3 seconds for a voice, then waits another 6 seconds before playing the message count. If you are having trouble connecting to a user, then I would increase the number in W(3,V) and remove a couple commas after.

That is what I was getting at with my earlier post

Carlos#1 and newtecky - Yes it is DTMF integration and no the *%U# didn't work. I like the suggestions and and will give it a go the next time I'm on site. I also agree that the pauses before the message count plays needs some additional fine tuning. I added the additional commas to increase the time before the system hung up if the caller didn't answer in 5+ rings.

Will try variations of the token:
9,W(4,T)%V,,W(5,V),P(M)-F-100-W(3,V)*%U#

Thanks for the ideas,
BobRobert
