Hi,

We have an expanded CTX-670 with 40-50 digital phones and a large number of analog ports as well. We use the Oaisys ACD system.

When an employee (that has a digital phone) is out of the office, they activate their DND button. We have employees that are out for a week or two at a time.

The reception phones (we have two of them) have sidecars and a button for each phone in the company. They can easily see who is on DND and who is not.

My problem is this... occasionally, overnight, the DND LEDs will stop blinking at both reception phones. The employee's phones do not go off DND. To fix the problem, someone has to walk around and disable/enable the DND on each phone that's currently on DND, in order to refresh the LEDs on the reception phones.

I'd love to know what triggers the DND LED's to go dark on the reception phones, or if there's a way to avoid it??? It's a pain.

The PBX may be in need of a reboot, it's probably been 3-4 months. The software version is AR2.22 MH225.00

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Barry

Not sure if that's a bug in R2.22, but the first thing I would do is upgrade to R3.10MK063. That's the latest on FYI.

I agree with Voyager - I've never seen that problem before, but upgrading has never failed yet to fix weird problems.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into upgrading then. In the mean time, I'll reboot the PBX.

if the reception sets get unplugged in the middle of the night by the cleaning crew, then they plug them back in, the DND indication will not come back on until you goto the users phone and turn off DND and put it back on.
