i have a 424i that the main attendant will take a co call and transfer to an ext.214 that i made into a tree box, dial a 1 and it goes to an ext.434 dial 2 and it goes to an ext.152 that forwards all calls to the vmail for an announcement. from the attendant you call the tree ext.214 or the 2nd choice ext direct and they won't forward they just ring and ring, but if you use the back door co line to vmail to call those ext. they forward fine also other ext. can call these and they forward just fine. any direction to look would be appreciated.

Press intercom and dial the VMail pilot number (850 is default), then dial 214 and it should work like the back door number.
Would setting up station call forwarding on extension 214 (either all, busy, no answer, or busy/no answer) to the target mailbox do what you are trying to accomplish?

Prog 10-2 LED 02 off allows calls from the reception to follow call forwarding when transferred from the reception's phone.
