Yep, have to replace a troubled IES16xp tomorrow, anyone have any time saving tips?

Can the programming be backed up via e-manager?

The Toshiba Backup and Restore utility usually works well for backups.

Emanager will not work. Newtecky is right... Use the Backup/Restore utility

Well, that swap out went better than I thought...

However, on the new IES16 XPE with the licenses transferred the SAM Query shows the 8 ports I need but I can't config them in e-manager, it only shows 4.

Anyone ever have this happen?

If you are swapping out the IES why do you need to configure the ports on the CTX/CIX mate are they increasing the ports?
Its not a licensing issue is it?

Sometimes when you restore a backup with more or less ports then the original, the registry has to be fixed. I have had the oposite situation when I replaced a system with less ports then the original.

The system ports are all fine, the ies is only allowing me to use 4 of the 8 ports its licensed for. I was saying I couldn't config them in e-manager because it is an xpe version of the ies.

I was instructed by our dealer support tech to rebuild the program in the ies and it should sync up the database so I will give that a go in the morning.
