I have a customer with a Stratagy voicemail in a CIX40, they are complaining about the default voice on the voicemail (please hold while I transfer you, etc) is way to loud. Sounds ok to me, but they are the customer. Is there any way in the voicemail/phone system to turn down that recorded voice. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

you should be able to attenuate the volume in PAD table. If there is not a pre-defined group for the VM ports then create one and assign the ports to it. This group would be the sender and "analog trunks" would be the receiver. Increase the value in the box by 3 or 6 DB
