Hello All,
I recently acquired a strata CTX-100 with IVP8 voice mail system, no manuals, no software, and no passwords ...
I have been able to discover the admin password for box 999 and have reset the passwords for individual box numbers. But when I was trying to create the office day/night greeting - box 991 messages 1 and 2 I believe - it seemed that the messages from box 990 were interfering with the day/night greeting.
So I deleted box 990 and now cannot access any of the mailboxes ...
So how can I repair my deleting of box 990?
Thank you for any help,
Thomas E. Shepherd

The IVP8-4 is Ivory, so I assume it is rev 1.
These are the numbers off of the board, 85-1002-001 Rev A ...
Can I use UAdmin2.1 to access it, or will it screw things up. I've found ES/iES32 Administrator Software V4.706 as well ...

I, for one, have always supported users to be able to self administer the system they own. Here is perfect example of why it is best to get an actual technician to at least provide some training on how to administer the system using either software or through the 999 mailbox.

Mailbox 990 and 991 are BOTH part of the systems main greeting. It was not a good idea to delete 990 as that is the default answering mailbox for the system.

Since you can not access 999 (and could not properly fix 990 from there anyway) your only choice is to access it with software. UAdmin is old but that may be the correct software for that version. ES admin is not correct.

As I said, I do support your ability to administer your own system, but at this point I would HIGHLY recommend you get in contact with your local Toshiba dealer and have them fix this for you.

And have them spend some time to help you with the basics of the system administration.

Good advice from Newtecky. At this point, it's a good idea to have a Toshiba tech come out to fix it and then show you how to administer the system.
