I need to create a mailbox where callers internally and externally dial the mailbox number and can leave a message.
I would also need to setup if possible a button on 2 existing extensions that will flash if this mailbox has new message. Is this possible to do without creating an extension and using up a port in the system?
I already setup the mailbox (339), however when calling into it, after the announcement is made to "Please hold while I try that extension" there is about a 45 second delay of silence, before the default greeting is played. Is there a setting that can remove this delay, or is this setup incorrectly that it's causing the delay?
Perhaps I went about it all wrong, any ideas?
Thank you in advance!

Ok, I think I may have resolved the issue with the 45 second delay. I just went into Stratagy ES Administration, and enabled the Do not disturb on that mailbox.
Now I just need assistance in having a message indicator for mailbox 339 appear on extensions 269 and 336. I would ideally like to use one button, have the light either flash or light up if there are new messages in mailbox 339, as well as have it setup so when that button is pressed, it goes to that mailbox to check for messages.
Thanks again!

Yo uwill need to add 2 buttons to each phone. There isn't an easy way to do this. Basically it invoves: Creating a different Phantom DN on each phone. Add a PhDN MWI button on each phone for it's Phantom DN Make the extensions the owner of their phantoms. Assign VMID 339 to each phantom. Create Message on and message off templates for each phantom for each phone in mailbox 339.
Sounds easy doesn't it.
