On the old DK systems you could program a "save" feature under a button on the phone to save the last number you called. You could access this number months later if you needed it. It acted as a redial button except it would keep the stored number until you pressed "save" again. Is this "save" feature available on the new CIX200?

Is anyone still putting CIX200s? If so why?

That is such a common feature, Toshiba wouldn't take it out.

But they did the CTX/CIX didn't have the "save" key like the older DK/CT range.

The CIX200's are still sold today as part of the current CIX range.

The IPedge is in beta testing over here at the moment but is soon to be released.

I agree that it was a good feature but I suppose Tosh thought that the Call History feature would supercede it in most situations -apart from the one you have stated!

I put in a CIX200 recently. I think it was designed with IP in mind, with the slots being 32 ports each, but has less card slots then a CIX100. If they made a rack mounted CIX100 chassy, I would think it would have made more sense.

I did not know about this DK feature, but I dont think theat feature is the only feature Toshiba left behind.
