I just acquired a used CTX100. I can't access the unit through emanager. It has a LIPU card that the IP phones cannot get an address from and no digital card to connect a digital phone and get the IP address of the cpu card. Is it possible to default the unit? I am not worried about loosing the programming.
Thank you

Thanks for the reply. The battery is soldered into the board (ACTU3A). There is a jumper labeled battery, if I take the jumper out is that enough?

There is a removeable plastic link with an ON/OFF near to the battery.
DO NOT unsolder the battery!!!!!

Or you could just do it via the handset programming.
Or you could do it via the Netowork eManager software.
Just make sure you have removed the SD card in case there is a backup on it.

I recently came to a company with a used CIX100 and they've been just using it in place because they didn't have any access to the switch.
Is there a place I can get the default config to just start over? If not, will the software populate the SD card with the software if I plug a blank one in?

If you pull the software card out, turn off the system, undo the battery strap to off, put the software card back in, turn on the power, put the battery strap to on, it should be in default.
That said, I had to do that TWICE on a CIX 40 before it would default and I can't explain that for the life of me.

Pull out the SD card when defaulting the system. If there is a program backed up, it will load the program instead of default.
Until you save a new backup, the old configuration will still be on the SD card.
