I'm trying to program the flex buttons to dial an extension. I'm not doing something right. I'm getting to program mode alright and getting to program 39. But when it asks for the port # and i'm supposed to type in the two digits and then the # key it's not letting me. I have to start with a 0 or it won't show anything. And from there the sequence would be different from the program guide so I'm lost.

Thanks

Yes the system is programed with port numbers not extension numbers. Prog 04 will tell you what the port numbers are programed with what extension numbers. Or dial 402 on a station and it will tell you what port number it is.

by default the are.

00 = 10
01 = 11
02 = 12
and so on

39, hold, spkr, port number, # , should get you into flex key assignment.

If you have to start with a 0, then you may have a DK16e which requires 3-digit port numbers.
