I've just about got all the programs mastered. But 39 doesn't compute. In the program it asks for the port, #, led, and feature code. I'm wanting to program the phones to dial extensions at the press of a button. I'm assuming it's the dss feature which it says the code for that is #00~#95. What exactly am I supposed to type for the code to dial say extension #12? either way when I go through this process, it's not having any effect on the feature button. Right now the feature button is for CO7 which we don't use, and I can't seem to get it to dial anything else. I have the dk16

DSS assignments, like most programing in the DK, goes by port numbers, not extension numbers. The port number for ext 12 would be #02 if it is default. That is not an easy system to learn how to program, in my opinion. Typically these systems were not designed to be programed by the end user. They were designed to be programed by techs that had some training, and/or field experience.

Is it a DK16E perhaps? It's been a while but try a 3 digit port number.
