All calls into our PBX briefly ring on a users phone, and then go to the main line like they are supposed to. This results in the users phone ringing randomly at various times during the day with single rings, driving him and his assistant absolutely mad.
Any insight you might have would be greatly appreciated.

You probably have line keys that are set to ring immediately even though the calls are DIT'd to auto attendant.
